Preschool Registration

Fees & Policies 

Registration for our Riverbend Preschool location is open. 

Registration for our Earl Grey Preschool location is currently on hold.

Deposit: A one-time $100 non-refundable deposit ($50 registration fee, $50 towards first month’s fees) is due at time of registering to confirm your child’s spot.

Monthly Fees: Monthly fees are required via pre-authorized debit on the first of each month. A PAD form, along with our welcome package, will be emailed to you once your registration fee has been paid.

Withdrawal Policy: One full calendar month’s notice is required for withdrawal. Written notice must be provided before the first of the month prior to leaving. For example, if you are leaving on December 10th, notice must be given before November 1st otherwise your December fees will still be due.

Fee Supports: Our program accepts subsidy and we are also part of the new Federal-Provincial Affordability Grant Program. Fees will be lowered in 2 ways – expanded subsidy and affordability grants.

Affordability Grant: Affordability grants for children from 0 to kindergarten age will be provided directly to Little Steps from the Alberta government enabling us to lower our fees for ALL families registered in our program. Parents do not need to apply to benefit from the grant fee reduction. Once you register with us, we will automatically deduct the grant from your fees each month. Grant amounts differ depending on the age of your child. Contact us for more information.

Subsidy: Subsidy for children from 0 to kindergarten age has been expanded to include families with a gross household annual income of up to $180,000. Subsidy for children in Grades 1 to 6 remains available to families with a household annual income of up to $90,000. In order to receive subsidy, parents must apply through the Alberta Government website.

Registration Forms

Registration forms must be completed online through the links below. Please click on the link with your program’s name to access our online form. Application forms must be filled out in their entirety. Once your forms have been submitted, a member of the Little Steps team will contact you within 48 hours to confirm your child’s placement.
